Certification Process

Apply
Only companies that meet the Membership Requirements and agree to our Code of Conduct are eligible to apply.

Application Survey.
We will carry out the relevant checks to verify the information submitted for application.

Telephone survey / Site visit
We will either visit you in person or carry out a telephone survey
This will also include the following checks: -
People
Does the supplier have the right people to do the job in hand? Do those people have the relevant training and/or competencies as well as the required qualifications and skills, if applicable, in the area in which they work?

Process
Does the supplier have appropriate processes and business practices in place to ensure customer satisfaction? Those processes should be relevant to the work undertaken and the size of the supplier’s business.

Performance
Does the supplier have a record of high levels of performance? Customer satisfaction is the most important goal for any business – does this company consistently meet levels of expectation and deliver solutions that work well?

Membership Grading / Examination
Once all the above has been collated, your information will be graded by our committee members.

Agreement
If accepted, we will send out an agreement for you to sign and a copy of the ACAWS Code of Conduct

Award
Once we have received your signed agreement, we will send you a member pack with a certificate of your membership, to officially welcome you on board.
