ACAWS certified members are required to adhere to a strict Code of Conduct. This Code sets out the professional standards required by ACAWS as a condition of membership.
The member, within its professional capacity must:
Respond to enquiries within 48 hours
Respect client confidentiality
Represent each client fairly and honestly
Be committed to professionalism and provide exemplary levels of customer
service
Conduct business in a transparent manner
Honour agreements with clients, suppliers and all other third parties
Engage in honest, legal business practices
Possess licence(s) and insurance required by law to conduct daily business
Settle any disputes that arise in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
Show due regard for fellow Members and other industry professionals
Promote professional development and staff competence
Adhere to the Date Protection Act
Any breaches of the Code of Conduct bought to the attention of ACAWS will
be taken seriously. Failure to adhere to this Code may result in membership
being suspended or withdrawn for an indefinite period of time.
