Membership Requirements

The Association of Certified Asian Wedding Services is committed to quality in the Asian wedding industry.
We offer the following membership levels, dependant on period of continuous business amongst other factors...

For Bronze membership the following requirements are applicable:
• 2 client / customer references in the last 12 months
• Proof of continuous business operation for up to 18 months
• Permission to carry out a Companies House check
CREDENTIALS CHECK – Dependent on the type of business applying and can include the following:
• Proof of Public Liability Insurance
• Food Hygiene Certification**
• Health & Safety Certification**
• PAT certification**

Requirement for Silver membership are as follows:
• 5 client / customer references in the last 12 months
A Brief Statement outlining business practices
• Proof of continuous business operation for up to 3 years
• Permission to carry out a Companies House check
CREDENTIALS CHECK – Dependent on the type of business applying and can include the following:-
• Proof of Public Liability Insurance
• Food Hygiene Certification**
• Health & Safety Certification**
• PAT certification**

For our highly regarding Gold membership requirements are:
• 10 client / customer references in the last 12 months
• Proof of continuous business operation for advance of 5 years
• Permission to carry out a Companies House check
CREDENTIALS CHECK – Dependent on the type of business applying and can include the following:-
• Proof of Public Liability Insurance
• Food Hygiene Certification**
• Health & Safety Certification**
• PAT certification**

Affiliation Membership
Affiliation is open to those who would not qualify for membership but are actively involved in or would
like to enter the Asian Wedding Industry.
• 1 reference from an existing member of ACAWS

Once granted, membership is for a continuous period of 12 months, providing the
Association of Certified Asian Wedding Services Code of Conduct is adhered to.
